The Physical Education curriculum is broad and balanced. This allows students to develop the knowledge and skills to be physically active and healthy outside school and throughout later life. Our curriculum promotes a love of physical activity and gives the students the confidence to participate in lessons.  High quality physical education promotes the physical, moral, social, emotional, cultural and intellectual development of students. This holistic approach improves psychological health, supports cognitive development and gives students the tools necessary to access sport and/or physical activity. During a students physical literacy journey at TGS, key skills of resilience, leadership, communication and team work are developed, enhanced and refined at all stages. Staff in the department are passionate about their subject to inspire the next generation and they aim to create learning environments which are positive, engaging and inclusive.
